On Friday 14th June 20 Geo teachers from around New Zealand attended a workshop I hosted looking at developments and product updates for the Google Geo Tools.
We were lucky enought to have Dr John Bailey from Google Earth Education with us for the day to give us an inside word on upcoming developments.
The day was one of teach, learn, use which is a model I like to employ in my workshops. The participants heard about developments, learnt how to use the tools and then spent time playing with them and collaboratively constructing resources to use them in context.
It always rewarding working with a group of committed and passionate educators who are actively looking to improve their practice.
